Welcome to DIADEM CHIHUAHUAS ! (Reg'd) (Please see site index at far left and enjoy your visit!) I'm Liz Moore from the beautiful Northwest, USA. I have been showing and breeding Chihuahuas since 1993. I finished my first AKC Champion in 1994, and 25 have been bred, finished, or sired here since that time, including several Group-placing dogs.My goal in breeding Chihuahuas is to come as close as possible to the AKC breed standard. I strive to breed typey, sound, healthy puppies with excellent temperaments and personality plus! Most importantly, my Chihuahuas are cherished members of my family. All of them are house dogs, Chihuahuas are not suited to a kennel situation and should never be kept that way. I generally have eight (or less) adult dogs at a time. Additionally, my Chihuahuas are my show dogs as well as my breeding stock, I do not have 'brood bitches' or dogs over 6 lbs. Though I am a show breeder, sometimes a puppy is just not suited for the show ring, so he or she becomes available to the right home as a companion. While these Chihuahuas may never become a show champion, they will make someone a wonderful pet. All my pedigrees are completely merle-free!
